Day 3 for testing the abrasion strength/resistance of fishing line materials proved to have some expected and unexpected results. Both lines tested better than the lines from day 2 on the smooth surface test but then tested slightly worse than those same lines on the sharp edge test. As I discuss in the video, copolymer lines are becoming much more prevalent and almost all premium monofilaments would be classified as such. The Sufix Tritanium Plus co-polymer monofilament is a relatively inexpensive line while the Yo-Zuri Topknot Disappearing Pink Fluorocarbon is quite expensive. Hope this video helps with some perspective, stay tuned for more tests during my off-season.
