Group C. Everyone loves it, probably because of the 787B which was not as fast as you think it was, and because it was apparently an era of going balls to the wall... Even though they had to save fuel. Mandela effect, innit.

But in the middle of all this, Sauber with their Mercedes partnership won two WEC titles and got a 1-2 at Le Mans, which was a good return for Mercedes given that their motorsports interest ended in 1955 with 'that' disaster.

And now, in 2025, Sauber which joined Formula 1 in 1993 will cease to exist, as it becomes Audi.

So how did Sauber make it from a shed in Switzerland, to being owned by Audi (via BMW)? Let's find out.
