Superbook - Jonah - Season 2 Episode 1 - Full Episode (Official HD Version)

God commanded Jonah to go to Nineveh and warn the people about God’s coming judgment. But instead of obeying, Jonah ran the other way to escape from the Lord. He went down to the port of Joppa, where he found a ship sailing for Tarshish, far away from Nineveh, and he boarded it. 😮

While Jonah was at sea, the Lord sent a powerful storm that caused the ship to break apart. The people inside the boat were terrified and saw Jonah sleeping inside. When they woke him, Jonah admitted that he was running from the one true God. To save themselves, they threw Jonah into the sea, and immediately the storm stopped. 🚢

God then sent a great fish to swallow Jonah, and Jonah stayed inside it for three days and three nights. From inside the fish, Jonah prayed and asked God for forgiveness. The Lord heard Jonah’s prayer and commanded the fish to spit him out onto dry land. When Jonah got out, he obeyed God and shared God's warning to Nineveh. The people believed God, turned away from their sins, and repented. Because of this, God showed them mercy and did not bring the punishment He had planned. 🙏🏽
