Container Wash System
The food pod and container wash system is designed to clean the insides of food pods, food containers, general tanks, containers, bins and Dolavs etc. T

his is a semi-automated container washing system where the food pods are loaded onto the machine with a fork lift truck (FLT) and automatically cleaned. The entire cleaning process of cleaning containers is semi automated and features a 360 degree cleaning head

Process
The food pods or food containers can be inverted, elevated and loaded using a FLT drum rotator, turntable, waist gripper or similar, or lifted when there’s FLT pockets at the base of the tank so that they can be inverted before loading onto the wash system.

When lowered onto the wash system, a one button operation then starts the 360 degree cleaning head which spins on 2 axis. The wash process can be timed, or the operator can run the heads for the length of time required, depending on the level of soiling within the containers to be washed

A sturdy frame with guides for FLT loading ensures the containers can be loaded without damage to the cleaning head or catchment tray. The steel structure is manufactured to ensure that the weight of the container is positioned on the frame, and can be galvanised or painted, with options for stainless steel

The containers are then lifted out of the frame with the FLT and the process is repeated. The lifting operation ensures there’s no manual handling, and the entire process is managed with a FLT, one operator and a single button to start/stop. As with Most of the Morclean bin wash range, machines can be installed in conjunction with a safety cage with safety switches and remote control to ensure the operator is outside of the wash area before the machine is started

Water Capture
Waste water is then captured underneath in the catchment tray. Made from heavy duty polyethylene, with removable fibreglass gratings, the waste water is settled in this tank where larger debris and pieces of debris are contained for removal. Waste water is then pumped to either an above ground tank for storage or disposal. The water catchment tray and water tanks can be easily emptied and refreshed

Options for Water Treatment
Water is then filtered before disposal to a mains foul drain, or, there are recycling options to re-use the water throughout the day. Options include full or partial treatment and recycling, or waste water can be simply filtered and dosed with detergents, biocides or similar for re-use throughout the day. The Morclean V-Mix water fresher device can also be fitted as an option, plus water can be stored in a holding tank for future use
