Warning For Parents: Williams Family Day Care

When Travis and Amanda Seich began searching for a daycare center for their daughter, Nataley, they sought recommendations from friends, toured the facility, and conducted thorough online research to ensure its safety and reliability. Confident in their choice, they entrusted Nataley's care to the Williams Family Day Care in Pace, Florida, owned and operated by Stephanie Williams in her home.

On January 22, 2020, Ms. Seich dropped off 5-month-old Nataley at the daycare. That afternoon, Stephanie Williams fed Nataley and put her down for a nap, but failed to check on her for 4-6 hours. When she finally did, she found Nataley unresponsive and not breathing. The cause of death later was determined to be positional asphyxia.

We are sharing this warning video to raise awareness about the Williams Family Day Care, which continues to operate without facing any repercussions. It is crucial to ensure that the daycare you choose has proper insurance coverage and adequate supervision. Despite this heartbreaking incident, neither the Florida Department of Children and Families nor the State Attorney's office has taken action against Stephanie Williams.
