Amira Abdi is a professional internationally renown oriental belly dancer and choreographer, the founder of the first oriental belly dance school in Kiev with 14 years of teaching experience.

She has numerous awards in oriental dance as her students became winners of many international competitions.

Amira has upheld a reputation known for excellence and professionalism. Since 2000 she has worked for many of Ukraine’s and international top talent agencies and participated in world most famous oriental dance festivals performing, teaching and judging competitions.
She successfully teaches to her students during 14 years. This style is based on deep analyse of different styles of oriental dance (Turkish, Lebanese, Egyptian etc.), classical ballet and silk road dances and careful selection of the most aestetic (beautifully looking) movements, steps and poses. Beautiful hands and arms moments, turns and rotations used in silk road dances were added to Amira's style of oriental dance to make belly dancing look refined and graceful. Amira's belly dance style works not only with rhythm but also with melody pattern. Special flexible body and hand moves, backbends and body tilts are used to emphasis lyrical mood of new, violin/kamanche. Different kinds of turns are used to show sacred and spiritual feeling of nai, duduk and different kinds of middle eastern wind instrument.

The main idea of Amira's belly dance is to discover natural beauty and power of every woman, awakening a Goddess, making her looking like a Queen not only on stage but in real life.
