Bon Jovi | Live at Esprit Arena | Dusseldorf 2011

A show I didn't think I'd revisit for nearly 14 years but then again, we also had checked out the 4th night at New Meadowlands Stadium years back, so let's have a look with a few years of distance on it. What made it a disappointment at the time was not only the setlist choices but the fact how the band had rocked Istanbul and Bucharest the days prior and was to floor the audience in Mannheim three days later (Zurich the next day was in some kind of a vacuum between these).
The video was filmed from the upper left side with the screen head-on most of the time, some never before seen HD footage that was shot by my buddy Ronny that night was mixed into this as well as a multicam edit that was created for Blood On Blood from this show. The audio was completely replaced by a recording my friend Kathleen made at the show back in the day. Having been able to meet a lot of fans from all over the world that had gathered on Jovitalk and set out to travel Europe for this tour was what somewhat saved this night.
