Huashan Mountain is located in Huayin City, Shaanxi Province, between 109°57′—110°05′ east longitude and 34°25′—34°00′ north latitude. It is 15 kilometers long from east to west and 10 kilometers wide from north to south, with a total area of about 148 square kilometers.
Huashan, called "Xiyue" in ancient times, elegantly called "Taihua Mountain", is one of the five mountains.
The "Hua" of China originated from Mount Hua, and as a result, Mount Hua has the name "Root of China". Huashan is the sacred place of Taoism mainstream Quanzhen sect. It is the "fourth cave of heaven". It is also a deity widely worshipped by the Chinese people, namely, the god of Mount Huashan. There are 72 semi-suspended caves and more than 20 Taoist temples. Among them, Yuquanyuan, Dulong Temple, Dongdaoyuan, and Zhenyue Palace are listed as national key Taoist temples. There are famous Taoist temples such as Chen Tuan, Hao Datong, He Yuanxi, etc. people.
In 1982, Huashan was rated as the first batch of national-level scenic spots. In 2004, Mount Hua was rated as one of the top ten famous mountains in China. In 2011, Huashan was rated as a national AAAAA tourist attraction by the National Tourism Administration.
