This is the first segment in the "FAT16 Manual File Carving" category of videos and I will:

Explain a few notes on the different FAT File Systems, before the file carving process as this is crucial for the understanding the methodologies.

Show you how to install Bless Hex Editor and set the layout to 16 Byte Per Row, as that’s what we’re going to be using against our templates.

Show how to validate files that are going to be forensically analysed using the "fsstat" and "md5sum" commands.
