Playing Hookie is a term that derived from kids skipping school to go fishing, did you know that? Well today Kayak Chris does just that. He takes the day off of work (school teacher) to go bass fishing. It was time to try out his new Vibe Sea Ghost 130 so Kayak Chris decided to stay local and do some bass fishing for a couple hours, relax and enjoy a day off from work. The kayak fishing was productive with three Largemouth bass although no big ones today. The weather was great on Lake Weir and boat traffic was limited to just a few old timers in john boats doing some Crappie fishing. For a day off from work, this was a perfect day for kayak fishing.
