Lexus IS300 Brembo 17z 18z Rear 4-Piston Calipers RCF/ISF Rotors | Budget Big Brake Kit

Fitting the Brembo (17z 18z) 4-piston rear brake calipers onto Lexus IS300 I got from a junkyard for the $60.
These will fit 1IS IS300 and GS300/GS400 (2GS) using overkill_engineering (Instagram) custom brackets. They require GS-F/RC-F or IS-F rear 13.6" (345mm) rotors.

If you need to grind for clearance, I recommend getting a 9” disk. The common 4-1/2” makes it hard to reach for rotor clearancing. For grinder control, definitely recommend a foot pedal to control speed, I've used the Foredom brand foot pedal since the 1990s (nail salon days) for my Dremel and grinders. For safety, I used this faceshield when grinding.

Hardware I ordered from BelMetric (shipping was $9.25):
4 x BSH14X1.5X30 - Allen Head 12.9 Black (Or reused triple square VW/Audi bolts) = $6.96
4 x BSH12X1.75x30 - Allen Socket Head = $2.52
4 x WL12CLZ - Lock Washer Zinc = $0.66
4 x WL14CLZ - Lock Washer Zinc = $1.00

The rear calipers should part numbers on edge: 20.7673.03 and 20.7673.04

For the rear you need IS-F drilled or GS-F slotted rotors, I ordered some DYNAMIC FRICTION 600-75040D and 600-75039D rotors because they were only RC-F/GS-F solid blanks available to match the F-sport solids. All others are OE still with the slots or drilled for IS-F.
