The Pentagon has ordered about 1,500 active-duty soldiers in Alaska to prepare for a possible deployment to Minnesota, the site of large protests against the government's deportation drive, according to reports. Speaking on FRANCE 24, Ilan Wurman, Professor of Law at the University of Minnesota, explains that, from a legal perspective, the Trump administration is 'clearly within its rights' to seek to have the federal law enforced.
