Here’s the second half of our round at Washington National Golf Club — the back nine! After the rough front nine (47), I stepped up and shot a 43 on holes 10-18, for a total of 90 for the day. And yes—I even snuck in a birdie which made the comeback all the sweeter.
As Washington National describes it: “one of the Pacific Northwest’s true gems” with award-winning design and visual contrast from native fescue and bunkers to immaculate greens.
From the back tees the course rating is 75.5 with a slope of 143.
In this video you’ll see:
Holes 10-18 and how the round played out: stronger rhythm, fewer mistakes, and a feel-good birdie.
My reflections on what changed between front and back nine.
The great layout at Washington National: big views, challenging holes, and fun to play with a buddy.
If you enjoyed the first part, this one wraps up the round in style. Don’t forget to like, comment your favorite hole or moment, and subscribe for more rounds with us!
