"Home Land" by Black Cat Blues-Premium Hand Made Art Soap

Home Land is the 4th and final piece created for the museum series. Each work of Art Soap in the series was inspired by a memorable museum exhibit that i was fortunate to have seen.
In the 1970's i traveled the western USA for a month. The geology / landscape of the west is spectacular and breath taking. Home Land was inspired by a memorable visit to a Native American Museum on the trip. I cannot remember the name of the museum. I cannot remember in what state or city it was in. What i can remember were all the beautiful works of art created by Native American Artists. Beautiful things!!! Our tour guide / educator thru the entire museum was a young Native American man with long thick braided hair. He showed us the differences of the art created by western and eastern Native Americans. What a wonderful museum and what a wonderful young man. Our tour guide also spoke about Native Artists purposely leaving a flaw in the work as a means to honor The Great Spirit. It is a means of showing humility, knowing ones place in the scheme of life. The Great Spirit is perfection.
