Welcome to my latest custom speaker project! These high-end speakers are handcrafted with a stunning combination of zebrawood and soft curly maple, showcasing a luxurious and elegant aesthetic. The enclosures measure 14" x 7" x 8" and has an amazing frequency range of 35Hz - 20,000Hz.
For the audio drivers, I’ve chosen the powerful Dayton Audio 5.5" Epique woofers (E150-44) paired with Dayton Audio tweeters (DC28F-8), delivering a rich, detailed, and dynamic soundstage. The woofers are matched with dual passive radiators from Dayton Audio (E150HE-PR) as well. These speakers are power-hungry, capable of handling 200W RMS at 8 ohms each, ensuring plenty of headroom and punch for any listening session.
To drive these bookshelf speakers, I’m using the Fosi Audio BT20A Pro two-channel Bluetooth amplifier, which provides seamless wireless connectivity and robust power output. Stay tuned for the full build process!
