PVGP Historics GT40 - Pitt Race 2024

The Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix (PVGP) Historics held at the Pittsburgh International Race Complex on Saturday, July 27, 2024. The Trump Stock car was driven by Joe Nemechek. Hanging out with Robert and Bob Andersson, and Vic Tamini of Olde Speed Vintage Racer Rentals. The legendary GT40 turns 60 this year. The Ford GT40 was first raced in May 1964 at Nürburgring.

8:30 – 11:30: Qualifying 2 Sessions
8:30 Small Bore/Formula Vee & Formula Junior
9:00 Medium Bore/Under 2 Liters
9:30 Formula Ford Challenge Series
10:00 Big Bore & Ground Pounders
10:30 Vintage Sports 2000
11:00 Historic Stock Cars
11:30 – 12:30 Volunteer Lunch Break and GT40 Reunion Laps – $60 per passenger
12:30 – 12:40 Opening Ceremonies & National Anthem
12:50 – 5:00: Podium Sprint Race 1 (12-Laps or 25 minutes) Gridded by best lap time from Friday afternoon and Saturday morning
