Kunjapuri Temple is a famous hilltop temple located near Rishikesh in Uttarakhand, dedicated to Goddess Durga. Perched at about 1,650 meters, it offers stunning panoramic views of the Himalayan peaks—such as Chaukhamba and Bandarpunch—as well as the Doon Valley. It’s especially popular for sunrise and sunset views, and visitors often climb a short series of steps to reach the sanctum. The temple is also a spiritual stop on the “Shakti Peeth” triangle circuit of Uttarakhand.
Haridwar is one of India’s holiest cities, located on the banks of the River Ganga in Uttarakhand. Known as the “Gateway to the Gods,” it’s famous for its sacred ghats, especially Har Ki Pauri, where devotees gather for the evening Ganga Aarti. The city is a major pilgrimage destination, hosting the Kumbh Mela and offering a rich blend of spirituality, culture, and traditional markets.
