Dam Damani : A beautiful forest trail near Choudwar Cuttack

I went for a beautiful forest trail to a Picnic spot and a scenic place Dam Damani near Choudwar. The monsoon weather was kind of perfect for riding. This place is located around 25 kms from Cuttack city and around 55 kms from Bhubaneswar which makes it a quick weekend getaway for picnics and also a beautiful forest trail for cyclists and motorcyclists alike.


The place is quite peaceful and also one will love the route which takes one through amazing country side roads. The place is home to elephants so one should consider the timing while visiting this place. Hope you guys liked this video.

About Dam damani pitha Cuttack:
This place is named after the Goddess Dam Damani, situated amidst green forest of Dalijoda and a perennial stream flowing nearby. This is an ideal place for picnickers and devotees.Legend states, that the Pandavas during the exile had remained incognito near the kingdom of Birat. The forest was a hunting ground of a king, but today is a part of National Forest Reserve. Dam Damani is an amazing picnic spot in Choudwar Cuttack.
