Church Going Introduction
Church Going is the most important poem by Philip Larkin which was published in 1955 in the collection of poetry Less Deceived. Less Deceived was the first successful collection of poetry written by Philip Larkin and Church Going was one of the most successful poems of this collection. The poem Church going is highly skeptical in tune. It’s not about Church going but it’s about the nature of Church going in the postmodern era.
