Shay Boloor Sees a ‘Dangerous Setup’ in Markets

Shay Boloor “wouldn’t be surprised” if the trade war goes through summer despite today’s conversation between President Trump and President Xi. “The narrative is cracking…and the labor market might be breaking before inflation cools off,” he warns. With the market near all time highs, “this feels like a dangerous setup.” He thinks short-covering is pushing the markets higher instead of fundamentals. However, he sees opportunity in some names, including MongoDB (MDB).
