This is a recording that I’ve been listening to a lot lately. The Tresero Markus Puhvel reached out to me a few years back and I ended up checking out his work with this wonderful group and I fell in love with it.

Palenque was based in the San Francisco Bay Area from around 2003 until 2006. German Donatien was the band leader and he wrote all of the songs on the album. He has lived in Madrid for the past decade.
