Welcome to the Channel! This is a relatively quick and in depth video on how to change the oil in your 2.0L Ecotec Powered Saab 9-3 (2003-2011 Sedan, 2004+ Convertible, All Combi). This general step by step (minus the amount of oil) will also work in other cars that have an Ecotec Engine such as the Pontiac Sunfire and Chevrolet Cavalier, Chevrolet Cobalt, Pontiac G5, etc.
Things you will need:
Small Flat Blade Screw Driver
32mm or 1 1/4" Socket (Oil Filter)
15MM Wrench or Socket (Drain Plug)
T30 Torx Wrench (Engine Cover)
6.3 Quarts of your Favorite Brand Fully Synthetic Oil in one of the following viscosity 0W-30, 0W-40, 5W-30, or 5W-40 per WIS (consult your owners manual if you're worried).
Oil Plug Torque: 25mn (18 lb-ft)
Filter Cover Torque: 25mn (18 lb-ft)
