In this tutorial I give a general description of a technique that I use to replicate the sound of the old school breakbeats samples from vinyl. Although I get deep in some details, I wanted to keep it not too long, so just focus on the overall concept instead of the specific things (for example the exact settings of compression, EQ etc).
