How to create a unique wedding design featuring bespoke base, cold glue technique, roses, calla and orchids

Ingredients - foam board, washi Japanese paper, cold glue , heavy duty wires, paper covered wire
standard medium size roses, weeping willow stems, small white calla lilies, iris foliage , faux phalaenopsis

This design is created onto a base plate and handle made out of heavy density polystyrene , the inner paper tube from string, and handmade Japanese paper.

When creating corsage work cold glue is the modern method - and here we can apply that technique to create a wedding design, with the central roses glued in place rather than wired.
This is really a concept design rather than an item that was sold, but you can use the idea to create your own version. Fuller and more floral, or keep it stripped back and simple.

It’s ideal for creating a light modern design and the bases could be different shapes and pre-made.
