The first roof top tent festival all over the world was happening in Nieder-Moos, which is placed in the center of Germany. This festival also called "Dachzeltnomadentreffen" or in English "meet up for roof top tent nomads" brought together roof top tents fans from all over the world. Thilo Vogel organized this great event and made it possible that we slept in a roof top tent for the very first time. Apart from that experience you could drive your car through an offroad track, learn how to cook at a campfire or how to repair your roof top tent and enjoy some great keynotes and a concert at the campfire. In this video I take you around the camp, show you the tents we saw, the people we met and how awesome this first roof top tent festival ever was. I also hung out with Joe Löhrmann (also known as My Traveling Piano) who showed me his piano and how he transports this instrument in his car. Tobias Köhn, who is known from his YouTube channel ACME Adventure was holding a keynote and gave me brief idea how awesome South Africa and Namibia are. On his YouTube channel you can follow his trip around Africa and also see his very first trailer as he is producing a movie which will be shown in the cinema in 2018 (A quarter of the world / Ein Viertel der Welt).
