"Monks on Mission" -- A heart-touching documentary on Vijayawada flood relief activities by ISKCON

After the devastating floods and cyclones hit Vijayawada and surrounding areas, ISKCON Vijayawada quickly stepped in to help those who were most affected. Despite facing many challenges, including flooding at our own ISKCON Sri Radha Shyam Sundar Mandir, our dedicated volunteers worked tirelessly to provide essential aid to the families in need.

From 31st August to 5th September, we distributed over 25,900 food packets, 8,000 milk packets, and 10,000 one-liter mineral water bottles to families struggling to survive. As the disaster continued, from 6th September onward, we also provided 3,076 grocery kits to help those who lost everything. The total cost of this relief effort was ₹2,957,500, which shows the strength and unity of everyone who came together to support this cause.

This relief mission is a true reflection of the power of community and kindness. Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, we were able to bring hope and comfort to those in crisis.
