Shri Surya Mandala stotra in praise of Lord Surya. Lord Surya eliminates poverty, sorrow, diseases. Lord Surya as part of the Navgraha is easily visible and considered the chief among planets.
All life generates from the heat and light of the Sun. Without Surya, the entire universe would be covered in deep darkness and creation itself would not have occurred.
Surya, he Lord of light and wisdom, is also considered to be a form of Vishnu and Shiva
Disease, weakness and negativity are cured by the divine light and heat of the Sun, which is always available to us and to all beings.
Lord Rama, the 7th Avatar of Lord Vishnu, was a descendant of Lord Surya an illustriousa king of the solar dynasty.
It is said that the Surya Mandala Stotra was revealed to Arjuna by Lord Krishna as per the summary of Mahabharat disclosed in Bhavishya Purana also attributed to Veda Vyas.
