“Tu Misterioso Alguien” (“Your Mysterious Someone”) is a new song that popped up in my YouTube recommendations a few weeks ago. With its lively and joyful Cuarteto rhythm, it makes you want to move along as soon as you hear it. Even though the lyrics keep complaining about a lover whose heart has been stolen by someone else, the upbeat melody almost turns that helplessness into a kind of bittersweet joy.

Cuarteto, a dance style that originated in Argentina, is characterized by small, side-to-side movements or light hops. Its steps resemble Merengue, but it places more emphasis on hip movement with each strong beat, giving the dance a lively and bouncy feel.

《Tu Misterioso Alguien》（你的神秘某人）是我在幾週前被 YouTube 推播的新歌。搖擺舞輕快又愉悅的節奏，讓人聽著聽著就忍不住跟著音樂動起來。雖然歌詞不斷埋怨著情人已經被另一個人擄獲芳心，但配上這個旋律，似乎⋯已經無奈到苦中作樂了。

搖擺舞（Cuarteto）起源於阿根廷，舞者在跳的時候會在小範圍內左右搖擺或輕跳。它的動作和 Merengue 相似，但更強調在重拍時的臀部擺動，整體節奏更明快、有彈性。
