Notes:
This is my musical interpretation of the idea of computer processing. You know those visualizations where they have little ashes of light whiz by on a computer chip? The beginning with the percussive effects attempts to recreate such gestures. When the central theme enters, I imagine it similar to seeing a computer at full force, highlighting not only rhythmic processes, but the melodic end result.
...and then there's the printer section. Here the string quartet both audibly and visually mimics the printing process. I think that's pretty cool.
