Several models of Schempp-Hirth sailplanes of the 70s and 80s featured all flying tailplanes, including the Standard Cirrus in this video that I sent to my inspector.
The British Gliding Association issued an advisory to inspect the elevator pushrod hookup bearing after one of their aircraft suffered a potentially catastrophic failure of the outer bearing race, which was thankfully detected during a daily inspection - ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS do positive control checks after rigging!
This video is an example of a "Type B" self-aligning bearing that myself and my inspector have agreed is in good condition.
