Mandy is suspicious of Valerie's interest in Georgie. During a Bible study session at the church, Valerie makes a pass at Georgie and kisses him. Georgie immediately pulls away, clearly surprised and uncomfortable. However, Mandy witnesses the kiss, leading to her punching Valerie. This causes a significant confrontation and Mandy leaving with Georgie, highlighting her protectiveness and jealousy.
