SMART vs Clear Touch | Which display works with my PDFs and other lesson materials?

In this tech comparison, we analyze two interactive displays. Two teachers take on the same lesson on the SMART Board GX series and the Clear Touch Next Hub.

SMART Ink (FREE for Windows and Mac with all SMART Board interactive displays) makes it simple for teachers to transition between PDFs, web browers, and other lesson materials.

The Clear Touch Next adds the same Android ink tools you get with a Clear Touch IFP to any display, but results in interruptions throughout the lesson. Teachers need to turn on and off an Android-based overlay before writing, and close the inking overlay to interact with the content - which also deletes their ink. Not only does this interrupt the flow of the lesson and cause rework, but risks losing students' engagement.
