In Parlez Vous Woo (1956), Olive Oyl swoons over a charismatic French TV personality known as “The International.” Bluto seizes the opportunity by disguising himself as the romantic figure, leading Olive to fall for his act. Popeye, however, quickly uncovers the ruse, and a comical duel ensues. As always, Popeye’s trusty spinach gives him the upper hand, transforming him into a charming hero to win Olive back. This short, produced by Famous Studios, is a prime example of mid-1950s Popeye animation, blending slapstick humor with playful romance.
