Bayverse Starscream’s Height Makes No Sense. In most iterations of the Transformers Starscream is 1 of the average sized robots. Which puts him under the likes of Optimus Prime and Megatron. But in the live action universe it’s a bit different. Thanks largely in part to Michael Bay’s insistence that Cybertronians bodies be the accurate size of their alt modes. Starscream got a major height increase. So much to the point that he towered over Optimus Prime. And was close to the same height as his leader Megatron. And it was all due to his alt mode being the F-22 Raptor. Which is said to be 62 feet long. However, there lies the issue. Because when Starscream transforms into robot mode he’s only 32 feet tall. And while that’s 1 of the larger heights for the robot cast. Its 30 feet shorter than his actual alt mode. So the shortest he should be is about 55 feet. The vehicle components are also smaller in robot mode. Such as his cockpit. For example, when Sam climbs on top of him in TF3 you’ll notice that he’s too big to fit in the cockpit. Talk about downsizing.
