The Warriors Society went out to restore Old Main Divide trail on Santiago Peak on Saturday 2026-01-10. This trail was incredibly beat up. We had 10 volunteers (including myself and Keith Eckstein) and so we were able to get a lot done in a short time. We removed poodle dog bush from the upper portion of the trail, cleared a large fallen tree that was blocking the trail, rebenched sections on the lower trail, and installed several new drains to help mitigate the rut issue. In addition, to the trail work, the volunteers that biked up to the event enjoyed the work of our recent past by riding down Buckthorn and Motorway.
