"It Came Upon the Midnight Clear" (aka "It Came Upon a Midnight Clear") is an 1849 poem and Christmas carol written by Edmund Sears. In 1850, Sears' lyrics were set to "Carol", a tune written for the poem the same year at his request, by Richard Storrs Willis.
"Leise rieselt der Schnee" is a beautiful Christmas carol from Germany. The song was first published in 1895 with lyrics by Eduard Ebel. It is uncertain whether Ebel wrote the melody as well.
"Greensleeves" is a traditional English Folk Song.
"What Child Is This?" is a Christmas carol with lyrics written by William Chatterton Dix in 1865 and set to the tune of "Greensleeves" in 1871.
