I Stopped Treating Creativity Like a Limited Resource

This is week 4 of restarting my art journey.

This week, I tackled the challenge of painting two of my favorite characters from The IT Crowd: Roy and Moss. I share the struggle of the “ugly middle” while working with gouache, along with the excitement of my first major gear upgrade — a new microphone.

I also reflect on creative scarcity, perfectionism, and what happens when I begin to trust that creative energy isn’t something I have to protect, but something that grows when it’s used.

This series is about rebuilding a creative practice slowly, imperfectly, and honestly.
