When I put this slideshow together, I tried to present as best I could the legendary cowboy and the historical cowboy and to avoid the Hollywood cowboy. You will see in this presentation there are black, mexican/hispanic and white cowboys. However, I could not determine from the pictures if they were Republicans or Democrats, conservatives or liberals, religious or agnostic or atheist. What I could see in the pictures is that they ALL cowboys and my heroes have always been cowboys.
