It's an unreleased song written and produced by Michael Jackson, which was set to appear in Steven Spielberg's Peter Pan musical.
"Neverland Landing" was written with Buz Kohan in 1983 and recorded in April of that year for inclusion in the Peter Pan musical, directed by Spielberg. Ultimately, it wasn't included in the disco.
According to Kohan, "Neverland Landing" is complete.
Kohan on "Neverland Landing"... We also composed a song called "Neverland Landing," which we completely finished, and there's a piano demo that I played at home. I have it somewhere, but I can't get it right now.
It was reworked by Jackson in the 2000s with Brad Buxer, as it was registered with the US Copyright Office in 2010 along with other pieces the duo worked on at the time.
A fan from MJJ Community heard a snippet of "Neverland Landing" and described some of the lyrics: "Rainbow skies and crystal streams / Butterflies and [some] dreams."
