The Japan Ground Self-Defense Force held its 67th annual live-fire exercise at the Higashi-Fuji Maneuver Area near Mount Fuji, June 8, 2025. More than 2,000 troops participated in the training, which focused on remote island defense and drew more than 20,000 spectators.
