Life is messy for everybody. It is mostly because we all are sinners, and it just gets that way. And as believers it makes our lives messy too. So, when we reach out to people to share Jesus with them somehow, we think that shouldn't be messy, but it is. Luke 1:11 reveals some people want to earn grace and thereby deserve heaven. They are bound and determined to earn their place through good works thinking God will accept them for it. This creates a real problem; what exactly was the cross for? If you have to work your way or if you have to keep yourself good enough for the rest of your life, then why the cross? the answer is that the Cross of Christ paid for all your sin, and you need to own and admit your sin to God. Some people know they need grace and have no other option but to cry out to God for it. And that is what God wants for us to do. Come, confess your sin, seek His forgiveness and live for Him. He still pleads for your heart today!
