U.S. Airmen assigned to the 188th Tactical Fighter Squadron (TFS), New Mexico Air National Guard perform flight operations and aircraft maintenance on F-100 Super Sabre aircraft and conduct a ceremony with General Joseph J. Navarro, commander in chief of the Pacific Air Forces, during their deployment to Tuy Hoa Air Base, Vietnam, May 13, 1969. The 188th TFS deployed to Tuy Hoa in June 1968. Just 4 months earlier, they lost Major Bobby Neeld and 1st LT Mitchell Lane after loosing radar contact 10 miles NW of Cam Ranh. Still considered MIA.
