If you want to work in one of our great National Parks as a law enforcement officer, this is the job for you. The hiring and training is different from most agencies. To become a NPS LE Ranger, you select one of 6 training colleges and receive your law enforcement credentials that allow you to work as a seasonal employee. You then become eligible for full-time employment. There are a few parks that will hire FT immediately, mostly near or in urban areas.
