Central Ciudad Caracas (404), an Alco Cook moving in the mill yard.
The important town of Santa Clara in the centre of the island. The shops are typical of all over Cuba with very little for sale (except for a surplus of Tupperware pots!). Because of the shortage of new items, broken goods were not thrown away but repaired. Is there a lesson for us all here?
GM Bo-B0 diesel, a TEM-15K Co-Co and a TEM-2TK Co-Co diesel loco, both Russian built and a Budd RDC diesel railcar.
A Baldwin 2-8-0 passes a signal box on stilts near Guareiras station and a locally built Taino railbus.
At Central Reynold Garcia (302) a Vulcan Iron Works 2-6-0 is briefly seen hauling a train of hopper wagons, probably containing raw sugar.
To conclude the video yet another Baldwin 2-8-0 is working on the Central Granma (304) system.
