Something I was dreading working on for about a year now was performing this major "90,000 mile service" on my Subaru. A slow loss of coolant noticed around 88,000 miles got me to lay the car up for a couple weeks to get as much done as I could.
I love this car, and it's taken care of me through a lot. Purchased used (at around 60,000 miles) in 2016.
1999 Subaru Impreza L Sedan
This was a difficult job compared to what I'm used to... but all of my practice work (mostly working on my pickup) put me in a confident enough position to try it out. Glad I filmed it, even though it ended up being an editing nightmare. I appreciate now more than ever how huge the engineering commitment is for Subaru to continue making cars with their boxer + AWD drivetrain. I'm glad they're still around.
