Resident Evil 5 is an action and survival game released in 2009, developed and published by Capcom. It is the seventh main title in the Resident Evil series. The story follows BSAA (Bioterrorism Security Assessment Alliance) agents Chris Redfield and Sheva Alomar, who are sent to a region in Africa to investigate a terrorist group and a new biological threat, the Uroboros virus. The game introduces cooperative elements, allowing two players to play together, both online and offline. Resident Evil 5 is known for its intense action gameplay, impressive graphics for the time and the continuity of the plot involving the Umbrella Corporation and the fight against bioterrorism.
