Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla and his crew return to Earth after an 18-day mission aboard the International Space Station. Mission Pilot Shubhanshu Shukla, with a smiling face, has stepped out of the Dragon spacecraft as he experiences gravity for the first time in 18 days. PM Modi has tweeted welcoming Shubhanshu Shukla to Earth. Shubhanshu's experience of the Axiom-4 mission will be useful in India's Gaganyaan mission. This is India's first human space mission, which aims to send Indian astronauts to low Earth orbit and bring them back safely. It is likely to be launched in 2027.
