Windows 10 Computer

This is my 2014 Dell OptiPlex 3010 computer running Windows 10 Home with Microsoft Office 2019 Professional. This computer has a 1TB hard drive with 4GB of ram and with Integrated Intel HD Graphics. The CPU is an Intel Core I5 3rd generation processor.

Windows 10 is a version of the Microsoft Windows operating system that was released in 2015. Windows 10 was the first version of Windows to use the NT10 Kernel. Windows 10 was the successor to Windows 8.1 and the predecessor to Windows 11. Windows 10 was the first version of Windows to replace Windows media player with a new media player as default media player however, Windows Media Player would still be available in accessories for those who wanted to use it. Windows 10 also saw the introduction to Microsoft Edge and Paint 3D. Windows 10 also for a time had a voice assistant called Cortana that would eventually be replaced by Microsoft Copilot in November of 2023. Windows 10 would also be the first version of Windows to feature “Feature Updates” that would be updates that would allow Microsoft to add new features to the Windows operating system that would allow for the operating system to stay even more up to date and stick around for a longer period of time which allowed Windows 10 to continue up until 2021 when it was finally replaced by Windows 11. However, mainstream support and feature updates has currently ended and full on support for security and bug fixes will end later this year towards the end of 2025.
