Every so often, a car turns up that, for some reason, has never really seen the light of day, but to find such in a commercial vehicle is near unheard of!

This is a 35 year old Bedford Astravan that is in as new condition. It is not restored, it is totally original from new as it has not been used and has been stored correctly. Registered in December 1988, it is the more plush 1.3L Mk2 model, still badged Bedford, finished in Nordic Blue with cloth upholstery. It is somewhat sensational and could be a shrewd investment for the next owner, possibly a museum, Vauxhall or commercial dealership, promotional or even film work - the opportunities are endless as this vehicle is unique, you will not find another, ever.

The van was bought new in 1988 by a builder in Bedfordshire, who picked it up from Vauxhall/Bedford main dealer Stevenage Car and Commercials and drove it home. Apparently he then went through a sudden downturn in business and quickly changed career, without ever using the van for work.

The condition is truly incredible. The exterior is perfect and original as are the seats and carpets - the load bay is completely free of dings, dents or marks, nothing has ever been in there!
