Art Forum is an ESU Art Program event and course designed to expose students to the work of active professional artists and people working in related fields, in order to gain an understanding of their influences, thinking processes, and methods of working.
For our November Art Forum we invited Lorinda Bradley to speak. Lorinda Bradley (M.A., Ph.D.) is the National Register Coordinator for the State Historic Preservation Office of Iowa. Previously, she taught courses in the history of architecture, art, and design for the University of Missouri-Columbia and the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and she served as the Director and Curator of the Montminy Gallery in Columbia, Missouri. Bradley’s research has focused on 20th century American architecture and design with a particular interest in mid-century modernism.
This event was on November 7, 2025 and was a part of Emporia First Friday at the Lyon County History Center from 4pm until 5pm. Please consider following us on our socials, Instagram and Facebook at ESUArtProgram .
